The Gary Wright Humanitarian Award was established in honour of Gary Wright, the founder of We Care, and is presented to a member of the Foodservice and Hospitality Industry who has contributed to the improvement of the community at large.

Brent Morning has hosted a golf tournament in support of We Care since 2014. To date the event has raised more than $65,000 – that’s 260 days at a fully accessible summer camp. The 2020 event was cancelled because of Covid-19 but supporters are encouraged to support We Care online.

Brent’s association with Easter Seals goes way back. He attended summer camp when he was 8 years old and was a fixture at the Bobby Orr skate for a decade, along with many other events. We Care would like to thank and congratulate Brent on winning the 2020 Gary Wright Humanitarian Award.
